Record of arbitral proceedings

Proceedings of the Commission are recorded during the Arbitration hearing phase of dispute resolution, where the parties have not reached settlement and the Arbitrator must determine the matter.

The Commission records proceedings by digital sound recording, enabling a Compact Disc to be produced of the proceedings for archival purposes.

The Commission will provide a copy of the Compact Disc of the proceedings to a party to the dispute upon request, at no cost.

The Commission will not provide a written transcript of the proceedings, however where an Arbitrator gives his or her decision orally at the arbitration proceedings, a transcript of the reasons for decision will be provided to parties upon request.

Record of proceedings in question of law hearing

The Commission will record and transcribe all hearings before the President on a Question of Law.

The Commission will provide a copy of the written transcript of the proceedings to the parties to the proceedings upon request at no charge.

Record of proceedings of appeal against the decision of the commission constituted by an arbitrator

The Commission will record and transcribe all hearings before a Presidential member on Appeal against a decision of an Arbitrator.

The Commission will provide a copy of the written transcript of the proceedings to the parties to the proceedings upon request at no charge.
